Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Monday announced Rs 240 daily diet allowance for doctors and paramedical staff engaged in COVID Care Centres, COVID Health Centres and COVID Hospitals.
“The daily diet allowance for doctors and paramedical staff shall be implemented immediately with prospective effect. The controlling authorities will ensure to provide quality diet to the doctors and paramedical staff engaged in these three institutions,” the government notification said.
The allowance will be extended in form of food and no financial incentives will be claimed/provided, it added.
