DAV Unit 8 Students Win 4th-Edition KWIZ-Bel

Bhubaneswar: Sagar Chandan and Ansuman Samal of DAV Public School, Unit VIII, emerged winners of the fourth edition of KWIZ-Bel conducted at DAV Chandrasekharpur School here on Sunday.

Gyandeep Paul and Kaustubh Biswas of the same school were the first runners-up and Asutosh Das and Gorakhnath Samal of DAV Publis School, CDA-Cuttack, the second runners-up.

The winners were felicitated with trophies, cash prizes, certificates and medals by AIIMS Superintendent S N Mohanty, Deputy Director ORMAS Sujay Kar, Head of Rheumatology Dept, SUM Hospital Jyoti Ranjan Parida.

The event was organised by organised by Wood Apple School for Special Children. The children of school felicitated the guests.

The programme was sponsored by Indian Oil and OMC. Odisha Bytes was the digital partner. The quiz was conducted by quiz master Manas Nayak.

The school is an initiative of Shree Sai Niketan Trust, which works towards uplifting weaker sections of the society.

The trustees, Amulya Kumar Roy, Madam Rita Baliarsingh and Shanta Baliarsingh, said that  KWIZ-Bel was a small attempt to make people aware of the importance of children with special needs.
