Day After Big Tremors, Mild Earthquake Hits Delhi
New Delhi: Less than 24 hours after Delhi, NCR and several other parts of north India experienced big tremors from the strong 6.8 magnitude earthquake with epicentre in Afghanistan, the national capital was hit by a mild quake late on Wednesday afternoon.
According to National Centre for Seismology (NCS), today’s earthquake, around 4.42 pm, measured 2.7 on Richter scale with its epicentre being in west Delhi.
“Earthquake of Magnitude:2.7, Occurred on 22-03-2023, 16:42:35 IST, Lat: 28.66 & Long: 77.03, Depth: 5 Km, Location: 17km WNW of New Delhi,” NCS tweeted.
