Bhubaneswar: Day temperature is likely to increase from February 19 and continue to do so up to February 23 with the mercury hovering around 35 to 37 degrees C during the period, the Centre for Environment and Climate (CEC), SOA Deemed to be University, said on Saturday.
The sky is likely to remain clear from February 17 with night temperature falling by two to three degrees C from Sunday, a CEC bulletin said.
Besides, with western disturbance moving fast from west to east, light rainfall with thunder is likely in one or two locations in coastal Odisha on Saturday. There is no probability of rainfall in the interior districts of the state.
Dense fog is likely in coastal and adjoining districts from February 19, it added.
