Mumbai: Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone recently changed her Twitter name to ‘Shantipriya’ to celebrate 13 years of her debut film ‘Om Shanti Om’.
Besides changing the name, Deepika has also uploaded a picture from the film as her profile picture on Twitter.
Talking about the film in an old interview with ANI, Deepika had said, “I had never been to a film set, didn’t know how to say dialogues and basics about body language. It gives me goosebumps thinking, without knowing whether I will deliver or not, but Farah and SRK trusted me. They literally handheld me through the entire process.”
Deepika was lucky to have got a chance to share the screen space with the King of Romance, Shah Rukh Khan in her very first film.
Reportedly, the actress didn’t give any screen tests for the film. She was spotted by Farah Khan and was given a break in Bollywood.
Helmed by Farah Khan, ‘Om Shanti Om’ was a reincarnation drama that had set the cash registers ringing at the box-office.
Deepika had also bagged the Best Female Debut Filmfare award for the film.
