Deepika Padukone Roped In As Brand Ambassador Of Another Top Brand; Has She Replaced SRK?

Mumbai: Deepika Padukone is at the peak of her career, and companies and brands are queuing up to get the Bollywood diva’s signature to promote their products.

Days after she became the first-ever global brand ambassador of mineral water brand Bisleri, Deepika has been roped in by a leading automobile manufacturing company.

Hyundai Motor India COO Tarun Garg announced on Friday that it has got Deepika on board as its brand ambassador.

“It’s an honour to be associated with a brand that has a rich legacy of crafting vehicles that have not only stood the test of time but have also set benchmarks for performance and style. What is even more thrilling is Hyundai’s commitment to inclusivity within the automotive industry that has been male-dominated for centuries. I am certain that together we will drive towards new horizons and foster a community that celebrates every individual, making the automotive experience inclusive and accessible for all,” Deepika said of her partnership with the South Korean auto giant’s Indian arm.

Deepika is not the first personality from Indian film industry to be endorsing Hyundai cars. Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan has had a decades-long association with the leading motor company.

Does Deepika’s inclusion mean that Shah Rukh is no longer with Hyundai?

Hyundai didn’t clarify whether Deepika has replaced Shah Rukh as its brand ambassador, or both will be simultaneously associated with the brand.
