Bhubaneswar: More than three Bhubaneswar-bound flights were cancelled on Thursday due to weather conditions in the country’s capital.
According to weather forecasting company Skymet, Delhi witnessed one of the densest fogs this morning. This resulted in several flights and trains being delayed. Added to that, air pollution in the capital city had reached severe category which further worsened visibility. The runway visual range had dropped to 75 metres.
Those cancelled from Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport were the connecting flights to Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Kolkata via Bhubaneswar.
