Cuttack: Members of Odisha Student Leaders’ Forum (OSLF) submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik through Cuttack collector over naming the three-lane Trisulia-Belleview (CDA) Kathajodi Bridge after legendary singer Akshaya Mohanty.
Taking out a rally from Purighat police station to the collector’s office, members of the forum handed over the memorandum to the collector and sought immediate steps in this regard.
The construction work of the long-awaited three-lane Trisulia-Belleview (CDA) Kathajodi Bridge is nearing completion. The bridge should be named after the legendary singer as the multi-faceted personality was born in Cuttack and most of his songs were linked with the Mahanadi and Kathajodi rivers, the memorandum stated.
