Bhubaneswar: The Met department on Thursday issued a dense fog alert in the state for the next 24 hours.
According to a release from India Meteorological Department, one or two places in Jagatsinghpur, Khordha, Puri, Cuttack, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Balasore and Jajpur districts will witness fog in the next 24 hours.
The minimum temperatures are expected to fall after two days, it said.
Moderate to light rain was predicted for some parts of the state from February 9.
