Bhubaneswar: The night temperature in Odisha, which has been reeling under cold wave conditions, is likely to rise by 2-3 degree Celsius in the next 24 hours with no large change thereafter, the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre informed on Saturday.
The wether agency has also issued yellow warning of dense fog for two days.

Dense fog may occur at one or two places in Sundargarh, Angul, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput, Gajapati, Ganjam, Puri, and Khurda districts
Shallow to moderate fog is also likely at one or two places in coastal Odisha, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput during morning hours.

Dense fog may occur at one or two places in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Koraput. and Nabarangpur districts
Shallow to moderate fog is also likely at a few places in coastal Odisha during morning hours.
Notably, the state witnessed a slight rise in night temperature during the last 24 hours with G Udayagiri being the coldest at 5.8 degree Celsius. The mercury had been hovering around 4 degree Celsius at this hill station in Kandhamal district for the last two days.

The twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack recorded 14.8 and 14.4 degree Celsius, respectively. The night temperature is likely hover around 15-16 degree Celsius in these cities during the next 7 days, it added.
