Bhubaneswar: After a weeklong spell of cold wave, Odisha witnessed a slight rise in temperature with most places recording minimum temperatures above 10 degrees Celsius on Saturday night.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there will be no large change in the night temperature during the next 4 to 5 days. The minimum temperature will remain above normal by 2 to 3 degree Celsius across the state during this period.
However, it has issued ‘Yellow Warning’ for dense fog at one or two places in Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Kalahandi, Malkangiri, Koraput till 8.30 am on Monday.
While shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at one or two places in Costal Odisha, the following day, the MeT office has forecast light to moderate rain for three days, starting Monday.

Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places in Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Balasore, Deogarh, Sambalpur and at one or two places in Bargarh, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Cuttack and Kendrapada.
