Dense Fog Warning For Next 2 Days; Night Temp To Rise In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday issued Yellow warning of dense for some districts of Odisha during the next two days.

According to the mid-day bulletin, dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places in Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Koraput and Malkangiri districts till 8.30 am on Thursday.

Shallow to moderate fog is also likely in South Interior Odisha and at one or two places in coastal Odisha during this period.

Sonepur, Boudh, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Balangir, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Malkangiri and Koraput are likely to experience dense fog in the subsequent 24 hours.

Shallow to moderate fog is also likely at a few places in Interior Odisha and at one or two places in coastal Odisha till 8.30 am on Friday, it added.

While the weather is expected to remain dry, the state is likely to witness a gradual rise in the night temperature by 3 degree Celsius to 4 degree Celsius during the next 3 days.
