Bhubaneswar: Dense to very dense fog is likely to engulf several parts of Odisha amid dry weather during the next two days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Thursday
In a weather bulletin, the Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar said that most parts of the state are likely to experience dry weather during the next few days. There will be no large change in minimum temperature (night temperature) for the next five days, it said.
The weather agency issued yellow warning of dense to very dense fog for six districts during the next 24 hours. Dense to very dense fog is likely to occur at one or two places of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, and Jharsuguda districts.
Similarly, sallow to moderate fog is likely to occur at one or two places over the district of Ganjam, Gajapati, Puri, Khurda, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, and Angul during the period.
Yellow warning of dense was also issued for some places of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, and Jharsuguda districts on Friday and Saturday.
Shallow to moderate fog is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Ganjam, Gajapati, Puri, Khurda, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, and Angul during the period.
