Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Subit Biswal has been appointed manager of the East Zone squad for the upcoming Deodhar Trophy to be held at Puducherry from July 24 to August 3.
Subit, a former Ranji Trophy cricketer, played 27 first-class matches, 19 List A and 9 T20 games for Odisha.
Odisha have a representative in the East Zone team in the form of Subhranshu Senapati, while Tarani Sa is among the stand-byes.
East Zone will open their campaign against Central Zone on July 24.
