Devotees’ Comfort In Puri Tops Agenda Of New Chief Administrator Of SJTA

Puri: Ensuring smooth darshan of deities in Jagannath temple by the devotees and comfortable stay of tourists top the agenda of new chief administrator of SJTA Ranjan Kumar Das.

Speaking to media person in Puri after assuming charge as full-time chief administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SKTA) on Tuesday, Das said it was a great responsibility and he was confident that he would be able to discharge his duty with blessings of Lord Jagannath.

Stating that he would be available 24×7 for services of the lords as well as the people, Das said no challenge is big enough for a person having faith in Lord Jagannath. “I have no hesitation to say that the Lord will guide me in fulfilling the aspirations of the people in extending best of services,” he added.

With the Rath Yatra ahead, he said ensuring safety and smooth participation of the devotees coming from all over the would be his top priority. Besides Rath Yatra, Das said he would further streamline the darshan of deities inside the temple on other days by the devotees.

Since Puri is also a tourist destination, the new chief administrator said their security and comfort during the stay in the town will be another priority area. “I want that every tourist who comes to Puri should return with a satisfying feeling and come back again. All possible steps would be taken to boost the tourism in the Pilgrim Town,” he said.
