Mumbai: Earlier this year in August, a video of Dhanush and Mrunal Thakur hugging each other at the premiere of ‘Son of Sardaar 2’ had sparked rumours of a romantic relationship between them.
Now, Dhanush’s comment on Mrunal’s latest social media post has added fuel to the dating fire.
Mrunal took to her Instagram handle to announce her upcoming film ‘Do Deewane Seher Mein’, alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi by posting the teaser, revealing the theme music of the film.
In the comments section, Dhanush wrote, “Looks and sounds good,” to this, Mrunal replied with heart and sunflower emojis.
Soon, a screenshot of the comments section started doing the rounds on social media, with a section of netizens calling Mrunal his ‘girlfriend’.
Sharing the screenshot, a user wrote, “Guys Dhanush commented on Mrunal’s instagram post,” with crying and heart emojis.
Another commented with love emojis.
One fan called the actors ‘thalaiva’ and ‘thalaivi’ in the comments section.
Some fans, on the other hand, thought that the theme music of ‘Do Deewane Seher Mein’ was similar to Dhanush’s 2012 film ‘3’.
“File a copyright claim on this. Just because she’s your GF doesn’t mean they can copy the bgm of your movie,” wrote a fan.
Another commented, “Sounds like dhanush 3 movie song Kannazhaga.”

On the work front, Dhanush was last seen in Sekhar Kammula’s ‘Kuberaa’ and ‘Idli Kadai’.
He will next be seen in Aanand L Rai’s ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ along with Kriti Sanon. The film is slated to hit theatres on November 28.
Mrunal, on the other hand, was last seen in ‘Son of Sardaar 2’. She will soon be seen in ‘Do Deewane Seher Mein’, and ‘Dacoit: A Love Story’
