Mumbai: Popular content creator Dhruv Rathee created a buzz by vowing to destroy a ‘Rs 300 crore propaganda film’ in his next video.
Dhruv refrained from mentioning the name of the film, but social media users found a connection with Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar’, which crossed the Rs 300-crore mark a few days ago.
Taking to X on Saturday, Dhruv posted, “It takes 1 YouTube video to destroy a ₹300 crore propaganda film. And I guarantee you that the MELTDOWN after this video will be so bad. They’re not ready for this. Releasing tonight ;).”

In November, after the release of ‘Dhurandhar’ trailer, Dhruv had criticised director Aditya Dhar for showing violence in the film.
“Aditya Dhar has truly crossed a limit of cheapness in Bollywood. The extreme violence, gore and torture shown in his latest film trailer is the equivalent of watching ISIS beheadings and calling it ‘entertainment’,” he wrote.
“His lust for money is so unhinged that he is willingly poisoning the minds of the young generation, desensitizing them to gore and glorifying unimaginable torture,” he added.
The spy thriller, inspired from real life events, was released on December 5.
Starring Ranveer, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt and Sara Arjun in key roles, the film has collected over Rs 480 crore net in India and Rs 740 crore gross worldwide.
As per reports, ‘Dhurandhar’ part 2 is slated to hit theatres in March 2026.
