Mumbai: Balaji Telefilms head honcho, Ektaa Kapoor, at a recent event confirmed the return of the most-loved daily soap ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ and left fans thrilled.
The producer also shared that the reboot of the popular saas-bahu saga will comprise of 150 episodes.
“The love we have for this programme brought everyone related to it back together to complete just those 150 episodes to reach that 2000 episode. This show deserves that,” Ektaa said, while explaining the reason behind making just 150-episodes of the popular sitcom.
Not just this, but the producer added to the curiosity and excitement of fans by sharing that the show’s star cast would include a politician. “We are bringing politics into entertainment, or better, a politician into entertainment,” Ektaa said, while talking about Tulsi’s character.
Meanwhile, a source revealed that several actors, including Amar Upadhyay, Cezzane Khan, and Ronit Roy, are being considered for the character of Mihir.
