Dilip Kumar’s ancestral house is more than a 100 years old and is located in the heart of Peshawar city in Pakistan.
In 2014, the house was declared as a national heritage site by then-Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Recently, the provincial government in Pakistan’s Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa decided to purchase the house in a bid to conserve the historic building.
The actor had spent his childhood in the house before Partition. It is situated in the same neighbourhood as Raj Kapoor’s ancestral home.
The veteran also shared a picture of himself with wife Saira Banu, twining in pink.
