Mumbai: Actor Diljit Dosanjh, who plays Param Vir Chakra recipient Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon in the war drama ‘Border 2’, shared an emotional note, along with behind-the-scenes moments as the film hit theatres on Friday.
In the first picture shared by Diljit, the actor looks calm and composed, with determination in his eyes.
In another photo, Diljit is seen smiling alongside children on set.

In the caption, Diljit wrote that relentless hard work of the entire team and director Anurag Singh’s dedication led to shaping the film.
Reflecting on his role in the film, Diljit expressed that he was greatly honoured to portray the character of IAF officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon on silver screen.
“Baut hard work kita saari team ne… Baba bhaag laavey… Anurag Bhai di 2 saalon di mehnat aa… Film vich mainu Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon da kardaar karan da mauka mileya… mere lai maan waali gal aa… Shukar! (Everyone on the team put in a lot of hard work… may God bless us… this film is the result of Anurag bhai’s two years of hard work… getting the opportunity to portray Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon in the film is a matter of great pride for me… I’m truly grateful),” the actor wrote.
Directed by Anurag Singh, the film opened to packed houses and received positive response from movie buffs.
‘Border 2’ also features Sunny Deol, Sonam Bajwa, Sunny Deol, Mona Singh, Ahan Shetty, Anyaa Singh, Varun Dhawan, and Medha Rana.
