Mayurbhanj: A physically-challenged girl was allegedly raped by a youth at Udala in Mayurbhanj, police said on Sunday.
Sources said the incident took place on July 31, but it came to light when the victim’s mother lodged a complaint at Udala police station.
The youth allegedly raped the girl when she was alone at home. The accused forcibly took the girl to a nearby forest and raped her.
Police said they have detained the accused and interrogating him.
