Bhubaneswar: WhatsApp has finally introduced disappearing messages, both for iOS and Android devices in India. Once enabled, the messages and media sent to a particular user will automatically get deleted in 7 days.
How To Make Messages Disappear On WhatsApp

To enable disappearing messages, first update the app. Then open a contact and go to contact info. There, select ‘Disappearing Messages’ and choose ‘On’.
Messages sent to this contact will automatically get deleted in a week’s time. However, media files saved on the device will not get deleted, neither will forwarded messages.
