Mumbai: The publicly-listed birth dates of actor Disha Patani and Khushboo Patani, which show that the sisters are born just six months apart, have sparked an online debate.
Fans were amused and confused when they noticed just a six-month age gap between the Patani sisters, who were apparently born just 203 days apart.
A section of social media users questioned whether the dates were accurate, while others speculated that the sisters were premature babies.
One user wrote, “Irish twins are possible but that’s kid under the difference of 10 months..203 days is not possible though, someone ha
s changed their DOB.”
Another said, “This seems like too small of an age gap unless if she was a premature baby, but my cousins have an 11 month age gap. one is born august 11th and the other is born on June 30th”
One netizen posted, “I mean Irish twins are quite possible but at the absolute MINIMUM the age gap is 9 months. This seems highly unlikely..I mean is Disha a preemie? Even then it’s pretty unlikely.”
Justifying the mysterious age gap, someone explained, “It’s possible with faking DOB for reducing the age. Something a lot of us do. What you mentioned is their ‘official’ DOB, not their “real” DOB.”
“Could be premature … delivery in 7th-8th month has become quite common now even that time they were happening…” opined one user.
