Disha Patani Wins Internet For Saving Injured Bird

Mumbai: Actor Disha Patani on Monday received a shout-out on Instagram after rescuing an injured black kite from the streets of Mumbai.

She fed the bird and took it to a vet for treatment. The bird’s wing had two fractures, which had resulted in trauma, pain and dehydration. “Once stabilised, the bird will be undergoing a major orthopaedic surgery to repair its wing post which we at RAWW will be initiating its rehabilitation,” said RAWW or Resqink Association For Wildlife Welfare, an NGO wrote on their Instagram feed thanking Disha for the same.

Disha is a bona-fide animal lover and has a pet dog at home.
