The BJP MP further stated that Sushant was also murdered.
Rane slammed the Maharashtra government for trying to save the culprits by not handing over the case to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
“He was murdered. The Maharashtra government is trying to save someone. It is not paying attention to the case,” Rane was quoted as saying by ANI.
At present, there’s a tussle between the Mumbai and the Bihar police over the jurisdiction concerns in the case. Even after appeals from across the country, the Maharashtra government is not ready to handover Sushant’s case to CBI for investigation.
