Cuttack: Out of the 16 corona positive cases detected on Tuesday, four are from Cuttack city area, Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) tweeted. Also, one of them is a doctor at City Hospital.
The doctor has been admitted to Ashwini COVID Hospital in Cuttack after his tests came out positive, CMC sources said.
The doctor had recently visited Kendrapara to bring his wife who will also be tested for COVID-19. Authorities have stepped up contact tracing.
The three other patients from Cuttack city are Dubai returnees. Total 75 people from Cuttack district have tested corona positive so far. 10 have recovered and one has died.
