Donald Trump Concedes Defeat, Then Backtracks Amid Violence In US Capital
Washington: US President Donald Trump conceded in his first acknowledgement that he lost the US Presidential saying “He won because the Election was Rigged.”
A few hours later, after the hashtag #TrumpConceded started trending, he defiantly tweeted: “He (Biden) only won in the eyes of the FAKE NEWS MEDIA. I concede NOTHING! We have a long way to go. This was a RIGGED ELECTION!”

Trump’s contradictory response came amid global recognition that Democratic candidate Joe Biden emerged winner in the election and is now President-elect.
However, Washington DC was rocked by bloody violence in clashes between Trump’s MAGA supporters and Antifa activists. MAGA supporters rallied in the capital in support of the President’s view that the election was “stolen,” and Antifa activists believe it is Trump who is trying to subvert the mandate of the people, reported The Times of India.
In a series of tweets, the President accused Antifa of instigating violence and glorified MAGA retaliation.
