Bhawanipatna: The Kalahandi administration has imposed shutdown in Bhawanipatna township from Friday to check the spread of COVID-19.
Kalahandi SP has requested people to stay indoors. Health workers will conduct door-to-door survey during this period.
Essential services, including healthcare, drinking water and electricity supply and ATM counters, were allowed to remain open during the period. There will be no restriction on the movement of people associated with these organisations. Similarly, home delivery of food by restaurants and aggregators such as Zomato and Swiggy and distribution of LPG cylinders are permitted.
