Balasore: A dreaded criminal, Ratan Das alias Jaga was allegedly murdered near Kurunthiapada under Kamarda police limits in Balasore district late on Friday night.
According to the police officials, locals stated that Jaga had indulged in a fight while he was forcibly collecting money from vehicles passing by. He was later found dead.
Police reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter. The officials also sent the body for post-mortem.
