Angul: A truck driver was killed and another critically injured when their vehicles had a head-on collision on the National Highway in the district on Friday.
According to sources, the accident took place when the two trucks were coming from opposite directions collided near Bamur under Kishorenagar police limits in the morning. The driver of a truck died on the spot. The driver of the other truck, who was critically inured, was rushed to a hospital.

The deceased truck driver was identified as Prakash Nayak of Kuajhari village under Handapa police limits in the district. The identity of the second truck driver is yet to be ascertained.
