Bhubaneswar: The body of a 50-year-old man was found in an auto rickshaw near Bhubaneswar railway station on Wednesday night.
Railway police identified the deceased as Kabi Chandra Nayak (50). He was an auto rickshaw driver.
According to witnesses, Kabi had returned to the auto rickshaw stand near the station after dropping off a passenger at night. He then went to sleep inside his auto. Around 9.30 pm, a passenger called him, but he didn’t respond. Other auto drivers also tried to wake him, but in vain. They then informed police.
Later, railway police sent the body to Capital Hospital here for postmortem.
The cause of death is yet to be ascertained.
