Berhampur: The dry run for COVID-19 vaccination drive was successfully conducted in the City Hospital, Berhampur, the district-level hospital of Ganjam on Saturday.
“Ganjam is ready for COVID-19 vaccination and we are awaiting for the vaccine vial with sufficient manpower. There would be no problem for the cold storage to store the vaccines and its transportation”, district collector Vijay Amrit Kulange said.
During the first phase, the names of 25,300 health staff, doctors and frontline workers have been registered, he added.
The vaccine would be administered to these people who have already registered their names in the portal. The names will be verified with their identity cards.
