Dubai Police have issued strict guidelines for spectators ahead of the high-voltage Asia Cup 2025 final between India and Pakistan at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday. The authorities announced that ticket holders must arrive at least three hours before the scheduled 8 pm IST start time, and entry will be allowed only once per valid ticket, with no re-entry permitted if a person leaves the stadium. Parking has also been restricted to designated areas, and fans have been advised to follow stewards’ instructions.

In a bid to ensure safety and order during the much-anticipated clash, police have banned several items from being brought into the venue. Flags, banners, firecrackers, fireworks, flares, laser pointers, and other flammable or hazardous materials will not be allowed inside. The list of prohibited items also includes sharp objects, weapons, remote-controlled devices, large umbrellas, camera tripods, professional photography equipment without authorization, and glass objects. Spectators have also been warned against pitch invasions, the use of abusive or racist language, and any conduct that may disrupt public safety or order.

The police have made it clear that violations will attract severe penalties. Offenders may face fines ranging from INR 1.2 lakh to INR 7.24 lakh and imprisonment of up to three months, while serious offences such as violence, throwing objects, or racist abuse could result in fines of INR 2.41 lakh to INR 7.24 lakh along with legal action. Specialised police units will be deployed in and around the stadium to maintain law and order during the match.

India, led by Suryakumar Yadav, and Pakistan, captained by Salman Ali Agha, will meet in an Asia Cup final for the first time in 41 years. The two sides have already faced each other twice in this edition, with India emerging victorious on both occasions. With the rivalry at its peak and tensions high, the authorities hope the measures will ensure a safe and incident-free contest as fans gear up for one of cricket’s most awaited encounters.
