Eco Retreat Odisha At Multiple Tourist Destinations This Winter; Know The Attractions At Hirakud

Bhubaneswar: The second ‘Eco Retreat Odisha’ will be simultaneously organised at Badmul (Satkosia), Nalitapatia (Bhitarkanika), Daringbadi and Hirakud along with Ramchandi Beach from December 1 till February 28.

Tourism Director Sachin R Yadav visited Sambalpur on Sunday and reviewed the preparations. District Collector Subham Saxena, Sambalpur Sadar Sub-Collector Suryawanshi Mayur and other district officials accompanied him.

The events this time also promise to be a unique experience of glamorous camping in luxury cottages, delectable cuisine, spa, adventure and water sports activities, nature trails and wholesome day itineraries and cultural evenings.

Eco Retreat Konark will be having 50 Tents of three type – Presidential Luxury Swiss Cottage Tents, Premium Swiss Cottage Tents, Deluxe Swiss Cottage Tents, Air-Conditioned Restaurant & Bar, Air Conditioned Conference Hall, Air Conditioned Reception.

Eco Retreat Satkosia will be having 25 Deluxe Swiss Cottage Tents, Air-Conditioned Restaurant & Bar, Air Conditioned Reception

Eco Retreat Bhitarkanika will be having 15 Deluxe Swiss Cottage Tents, Air-Conditioned Restaurant & Bar, Air Conditioned Reception

Eco Retreat Daringbadi will be having 25 Deluxe Swiss Cottage Tents, Air-Conditioned Restaurant & Bar, Air Conditioned Reception

Eco Retreat Hirakud will be having 25 Premium Swiss Cottage Tents, Air-Conditioned Restaurant & Bar, Air Conditioned Reception. There will also be ropeway ride, a jungle safari in Debrigarh sanctuary, banana ride, jet ski and rifle shooting.

The event organised at Konark last year was highly successful and saw record occupancy of 89 per cent. Over 4,000 tourists were at the camps while another 5,000 attended the cultural evenings every day organised during the two-month period.
