New Stoppage For 10 Trains In Odisha Announced
Bhubaneswar: Union Minister of State for Railways Majoj Sinha on Monday laid the foundation stone of a new escalator at Bhubaneswar railway station and dedicated a new escalator and a foot overbridge at Brahmapur railway station and improved circulating area at Talcher railway station.
During the event at the Railway Auditorium here, the Union minister also announced a series of extensions and new stoppages. Gondwana Expresss has been extended to Sambalpur via Jharsuguda Road. Sambalpur to Shalimar express will now run thrice a week instead of one day only.
Here is the list of new stoppages announced:
- Stoppage of Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express(20817/18) at Dhenkanal railway station
- Stoppage of Howrah-Satya Sai Nilaya Prashanti Express(22831/32) at Balasore railway station
- Stoppage of Haladia-Madras Superfast Express (22613/14) at Balasore railway station
- Stoppage of Howrah-Kanyakumari Express (12665/66) at Bhadrak railway station
- Stoppage of Purulia-Villupuram Express (22605/06) at Jaleswar railway station
- Stoppage of Paradip-Puri Express (18413/14) at Kanas Road railway station
- Stoppage of Howrah-Puri Express (12821/22) at Markona railway station
- Stoppage of Ndls-Puri Neelachal Superfast Express (12875/12876) at Dhanamandal railway station
- Stoppage of Kendujhargarh-Bhubaneswar Passenger Train (58425/58426) at Dhanmandal railway station
- Stoppage of Barbil-Puri Passenger Train (18415/16) at Kanas Road railway station
Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was present.
