Mumbai: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached eight properties belonging to Maharastra minister Nawab Malik under Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002.
The senior NCP leader, arrested by ED on February 23 in connection with a money-laundering case against Dawood Ibrahim and some of his close aides, is currently in judicial custody.
The properties which have been provisionally attached by ED are in the names of Malik’s family members, Solidus Investments Pvt. Ltd and Malik Infrastructure.
