Mumbai: After grilling Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik and father Indrajit in a money laundering case, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has reportedly seized their mobile phones, iPads and laptops.
According to a report by Times Now, ED has confiscated two mobile phones and an iPad belonging to Rhea, one phone and an iPad of Showik and one phone and a laptop of Indrajit.
The ED team will be retrieving last year’s data including phone calls and electronic transaction details from these confiscated gadgets.
On Monday, Rhea had recorded her statement for the second time with ED and her brother Showik was grilled for the third time.
Notably, ED had filed a case against Rhea and her family members on July 31 on the basis of a Bihar Police FIR lodged by Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh, who had claimed that Rs 15 crore was siphoned off from his son’s Kotak Mahindra Bank account.
The case was filed under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
