Cuttack: Another elderly person has reportedly died due to loud DJ music played during a marriage procession in Odisha’s Bhadrak district on Saturday night.
As per reports, the victim has been identified as 70-year-old Sarat Chandra Rout of Balipatna village under Town police station in the district. He was sleeping when the procession crossed his house. Disturbed by the loud sound, he went out.
Suddenly fell down and lost consciousness. His family members rushed him to the local hospital where he was declared brought dead. Sarat’s family said he died of heart attack caused by the DJ sound.
“He (Sarat) was quite all right at night. He had taken dinner and went to sleep. While the marriage procession was gong near our house, he got up and said he was feeling uneasy in the chest. Soon after going outside, he fell down and died,” Basanti Rout, one of Sarat’s relatives told the media persons.
