Balangir: The carcass of an adult elephant was found in Asura Dunguri forest under Sadar Range of Balangir Forest Division in Odisha on Tuesday.
According to sources, a tusk of the elephant was found missing from the carcass.
Locals said it was very likely the tusker was killed by poachers. Forest officials have initiated an investigation in this matter.
