Elon Musk To Bid Adieu To Twitter, ‘All Birds Will Be Gone’; What Are His Plans?

New Delhi: Elon Musk is set to ‘bid adieu’ to Twitter.

“And soon we shall bid adieu to the twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds,” the maverick billionaire tweeted.

So what exactly does it mean? Is Twitter is shutting down?

Well, not exactly. It looks like Musk is planning to rebrand the social media platform which won’t be represented by the iconic blue bird logo in the future.

In a series of tweets, Musk revealed that the new logo is most likely to be in some shape and form of ‘X’.

“Not sure what subtle clues gave it way, but I like the letter X,” Musk wrote.

In another tweet, Musk shared an image of the Twitter bird in black background, stating, “Like this but X.”

“If a good enough X logo is posted tonight, we’ll make go live worldwide tomorrow,” Musk further posted.

Musk also retweeted an X.com logo from 1999.

Musk has been talking about a ‘super’ app, the X app, for some time now that will more than just provide people a platform to share their thoughts with the world.

His vision for the X app was to enable connect people, help with payments and order food online, etc.

Three months ago, Twitter was even legally merged with the X app. Twitter came to be legally known as X Corp, with Twitter Inc no longer existing on paper.
