Mumbai: Social media influencer Elvish Yadav, well known for keeping the audience hooked with his wit and charm in reality shows, has turned down Rohit Shetty’s ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi.’
After reports suggested that Elvish might be participating in the upcoming season of ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’, the influencer cleared the air.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Elvish said that he loves doing reality shows because there is no script in it.
However, he turned down stunt reality show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ because there are crocodiles in the show and he is scared of the reptile.
“Khatron Ke Khiladi ye toh bohot bada show hai. Nahi (Khatron Ke Khiladi is a big show. No),” he said.
He continued, “Magarmach hai na usme. Har baari mai batata hu. Magarmach se muje bohot darr lagta hai. Maine unko bhi bola ki aapke show mai magarmach ko rakho ya muje rakhlo (There are crocodiles in the show. I’m scared of them. I even told them earlier that either you keep crocodiles in the show or me).”
Asked if he was ever approached by the makers of Khatron Ke Khiladi, Elvish said, “Haa unhone muje pucha tha. Magarmach hai. Meri mummy mana karti hai magarmach ke sath rehne. (Yes, they asked me. There are crocodiles. My mother warned me not to be with crocodiles).”
Apart from Elvish, the other celebs who have been approached for ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ are Munawwar Faruqui, Karan Kundrra, Isha Malviya, Gulki Joshi, Avinash Mishra and others.
Elvish recently emerged as the winning Gang Leader in ‘Roadies XX.’
Asked if would return as a Gang Leader in the forthcoming season of Roadies, he said, “Bilkul karenge. Bohot acha show hai. Itna bada show kon mana karega. Ek do sharto ke sath. (Of course, I’ll do. It is a very big show. Who would say no? But, with one or two clauses).”
Elvish has also appeared in ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ and ‘Laughter Chefs: Unlimited Entertainment Season 2.’
