Bhubaneswar: Eminent academician Prof Mohan Rao, currently Professor and Department Chair of Mechanical Engineering at Tennessee Tech, Cookesville, USA on Saturday called on Prof Manojranjan Nayak, founder President of SOA Deemed to be University here.
The two academicians discussed several issues related to academics including the outcome-based education system.
Prof Rao, previously a professor of mechanical engineering at Michigan Tech, is a Fellow of two major professional societies in the field—ASME and SAE. He is also serving as a distinguished member in the SOA Advisory Board. Prof Rao was here to attend the Ph.D defence of a research scholar.
