Bhubaneswar: Three schools from Odisha, including one from the capital city, figure among the top 10 in India, according to a national survey conducted by Education World India School Rankings (EWISR) 2022-23.
The schools are SAI International School in Bhubaneswar, Odisha Adarsh Vidyalaya (OAV), Hatiota in Ganjam, and OAV at Patharchepa in Balangir district.
SAI secured the first rank at the national level in day-cum-boarding school category The other schools from Odisha, which figured in this category, are ODM Public School, Bhubaneswar, at 11th position, and DAV Chandrashekharpur and Vikash Residential School at 15th.
Odisha Adarsh Vidyalaya (OAV), Hatiota, secured the fifth rank in the state government day school category while OAV at Patharchepa was 10th in government boarding school category.
DPS, Kalinga, topped the table in the co-ed day schools category in the state by securing 106th rank while DAV Public School, Unit VIII, and DAV Public School, Pokhariput, were second and third with All-India Rank 111 and 167 respectively.
The 16th annual Education World India School Rankings (EWISR) 2022-23 survey was released in Bangalore on Wednesday.

The schools were ranked on 14 different parameters of education excellence including academic reputation, the competence of faculty, individual attention to students, leadership and management quality, curriculum, and pedagogy.
