Tehran: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a chilling warning on Tuesday, saying they will target big American companies in West Asia/Gulf region from April 1, if more Iranian leaders were killed in “targeted assassinations”.
Among the 18 companies on the IRGC’s threat list are Microsoft, Google, Apple, Intel, IBM, Tesla and Boeing.
“These companies should expect the destruction of their respective units in exchange for each terror act in Iran, starting from 8 pm Tehran time (10.30 pm IST) on Wednesday, April 1,” an IRGC statement said, as per state media.
“We advise the employees of these institutions to immediately leave their workplaces to preserve their lives,” the statement added.
Other American companies IRGC has threatened include Dell Technologies, Hewlett Packard (HP), Cisco, Oracle, Meta Platforms (which owns Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram), IBM, JPMorgan Chase, General Electric and Boeing.
The IRGC said that information technology and artificial intelligence companies play a key role in planning and executing operations targeting Iran.
