Explosive And Letter Threatening Yogi Adityanath Found In MP

New Delhi: The Madhya Pradesh police on Wednesday, defused an explosive with a timer in district Rewa. A letter that threatened Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was also found at the spot.

The device was planted under a bridge on National Highway-30. A bomb disposal squad was rushed to the spot as soon as the device was discovered, India Today reported.

This was the first such incident reported in the Rewa division of Madhya Pradesh. Police are probing the source and motive of the criminal act.

Notably, the Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2022 will be held from February 10 onwards in seven phases.
