Mumbai: Kareena Kapoor Khan has found herself at the centre of pregnancy rumours after a recent spotting sparked speculation that she and husband Saif Ali Khan may be expecting their third child.
However, a source close to the actor has dismissed the reports, clarifying that the pregnancy rumours are untrue.
A viral video shows Kareena walking towards her car as members of her team accompany her. At one point, a team member is seen holding an umbrella in front of the actor, partially blocking the paparazzi’s view.
A glimpse of what appeared to be a baby bump, coupled with the attempt to shield her from the cameras, soon sparked speculation online about whether Kareena was pregnant.
However, setting the record straight, a source close to the actor said, “Kareena is not pregnant. This is not true.”
Kareena and Saif recently returned from a relaxing beach getaway with their children.
The family travelled together to celebrate Saif’s 56th birthday on August 16.
Kareena later shared a series of pictures from the holiday, offering fans a glimpse into their family time.
Kareena had previously spoken candidly about their family plans, saying she had told Saif that they should not have any more children.
Saif is a father of four — Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan from his marriage to Amrita Singh, and Taimur and Jeh with Kareena.
“Saif has had a child every decade—in his twenties, thirties, forties and now in his fifties. I’ve told him, in your sixties, that’s not happening. I think only a man as broad-minded as Saif could be a father of four children at very different stages. He gives his time to them all. And now, with Jeh, we are trying to balance it out. We’ve made a pact that when he’s shooting for a film, I will try not to work on one at the same time [and vice versa],” Kareena was quoted as saying by Vogue.
