Mumbai: The late Sushant Singh Rajput was in a relationship with ‘Pavitra Rishta’ co-star Ankita Lokhande and also dated Sara Ali Khan, before befriending Rhea Chakraborty.
Did Rhea date a Bollywood actor before meeting Sushant?
According to Sushant’s friend Smita Parikh, Rhea was in a relationship with Malang and Ludo actor Aditya Roy Kapoor before falling in love with Sushant.
“Rhea dated aditya roy kapoor b4 meeting SSR, and how he was ‘set up’ after he dumped her? By the spirit which lives with her!! How disgusting and vindictive a woman could be? U urself narrated this story to many… What a dangerous person roaming free? Rhea Planted In SSR Life,” Smita tweeted recently. She had made some shocking claims about Rhea after Sushant’s death last June.
Sushant was found hanging in his Mumbai residence on June 14, 2020. Mumbai Police had concluded it was a case of suicide, but the case took a turn after Sushant’s family accused Rhea of abetment to suicide and also siphoning off funds.
CBI took over the case while Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested Rhea and her brother Showik in a drug probe related to Sushant’s death case.
The actress was released on bail after spending a month in Mumbai’s Byculla jail.
