Washington: A video shared by Eric Trump, showing ballots for President Donald Trump being burnt in Virginia Beach has gone viral.
Eric is the son of the incumbent US President.
In the video, a person is seen putting paper ballots in a plastic bag and dousing them with an inflammable liquid. The candidate names on the paper suggested that these were from Virginia Beach, Virginia.
However, city officials have addressed the issue stating that these ballots were not real but samples. They explained that these do not have barcode markings that appear on all official ballots.
Fire officials are also investigating the alleged burning incident.
