Fake Casting Messages Using Salman’s Name: Bhaijan Threatens Legal Action

Mumbai: Salman Khan on Monday warned about fake casting calls and promised legal action against those using his or his company’s name.

The Bollywood superstar, ‘Bhaijan’ to lakhs of fans, issued a statement clarifying that he and his production company Salman Khan Films (SKF) are in no way associated with any third party for casting in films.

“This is to clarify that neither Mr Salman Khan nor Salman Khan Films are casting for any film currently. We have not hired any casting agents for any of our future films. Please do not trust any emails or messages received by you for this purpose. Legal action will be taken if any party is found falsely using Mr Khan’s or SKF’s name in any unauthorised manner,” Salman posted a statement from SKF on Instagram.

Salman established his film production and distribution company SKF in 2011. His mother Salma Khan is a part of it, and the money generated from production is donated to the Being Human organisation.

Ever since ‘Chillar Party’, the first film produced under SKF banner, the company has backed several films including ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, ‘Hero’, ‘Tubelight’, ‘Race 3’, ‘Loveyatri’, ‘Notebook’, ‘Bharat’, ‘Kaagaz’, ‘Dabangg 3’, ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ and ‘Antim: The Final Truth’.

SKF’s last venture was the recent Salman-starrer ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’.

Salman is currently hosting Bigg Boss OTT 2, the first time that he is involved with the OTT version of the popular reality show.
