Bhubaneswar: Commissionerate Police busted a fake ghee manufacturing unit at Bangali Sahi near Laxmi Sagar here on Sunday night. Six men were arrested from the spot.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Laxmi Sagar Police raided a house and seized a gas cylinder, one stove, Rs 6,500 in cash, two quintals of adulterated ghee and essence items, which were used to prepare ghee.
Those arrested used to sell the adulterated ghee to retailers at various places, police sources informed.
